Attractions - Entertainment District
Numerous world-famous attractions are all within walking distance throughout The District.
For TV buffs, take a behind the scenes tour of the Canadian Broadcasting Corporation, or
tour the hip Chum City Building. Sports fans can visit the SkyDome or the Air Canada
Centre - home of the Blue Jays, Raptors, and Maple Leafs. Theatre buffs may want to
experience the prestigious Royal Alexandra Theatre or the new home of the famous Second
City. You can even go bowling in the multi-leveled eatery, Vinnie's Social Hall, or play
golf at Citycore.
Lastly, one cannot leave unmentioned the most famous and tallest attraction in the
Entertainment District, the CN Tower. The glass elevator ride to the top of the world's
tallest free-standing structure is a slice. Oh, and by the way, be careful where you walk.
You may, literally be stepping on Celine Dion. The Canadian Walk of Fame is a sidewalk
attraction with Canadian celebrities' stars scattered throughout 13 blocks of The
District.

The city's PATH is the world's largest and longest underground shopping complex with more
than 1,200 shops and services and it links with the District. (Really! It's even in the
Guiness Book of World Records.) This pedestrian walkway, filled with shops and stores,
restaurants and bars, meanders under the city for 10 kilometres (or 6.5 miles). |
