Name: The
Merchandise Building
Formerly the Sears warehouse, the Merchandise
building is by far Toronto’s largest loft development. The entire development
consists of 4 phases with a total of over 450 suites encompassing an entire city block.
The Merchandise Building features twelve foot exposed concrete ceilings, polished concrete
or hardwood floors, and massive mushroom columns reminiscent of the 1930 era that this
wonderful building was erected in. Designers Norma King, Cicconi Simone, and Brian
