Name: SPACE
The 15 storey "Space" is located on
Richmond Street between Jarvis Street and Sherbourne Street. Designed with a
light glass-sheathed building, and the floorplan is structured so the building is
saw-toothed: this enables every suite to face west - either northwest or southwest
affording great views of the city.
There are a variety of floorplans available for Urban Lofts and
the City Flats found in Space. Suite sizes from 365 square foot studio
flat, to 990 square foot 2-bedroom Loft.
The Urban Lofts, which are from the ground level to the tenth
floor, are all two-storey with 16 foot/8 inch high ceilings. The City Flats on
levels 10 to 15 offer great views of the city.
Three thoughtfully combined material components bring the
interior design of these suites close to the rubric of art - brushed metal, natural finish
wood (maple and birch) and glass. A floating glass kitchen bar supported by
brushed chrome is the first of many attention-getters. Another highlight is
the all-wood, natural finish sliding doors on the master bedroom closet, with brushed
chrome handgrips. They take their lead from the other interior doors and
cabinetry throughout the suite, each crafted from natural finish maple or birch.
The living room is finished with hardwood flooring and ceramic tile is set in
the kitchen and bathroom floors while Sisal-style nylon carpeting decks out the bedroom
