Why you
shouldn't register on developers' sites
By: Linda Wheeler Many of you out there are research
junkies, this I can certainly understand being one myself. Whenever you see a billboard
advertising a new development 'coming soon', I know how difficult it must be for you to
avoid the urge of typing in the website and seeing what information might be posted. Let
me clarify something for you, when developers are in the planning stages of releasing a
project they never post pricing or floor plans on their website. What they will do is
tease you and ask you to register online for more information on the project. What many of
you do not know is that once you have done this, not only will you not be immediately
receiving the latest info that you hoped for, you are now registering directly with the
developer and placing yourself on the Preview List among the general public, and
forfeiting your ability to bring in your own Buyer's agent to assist you with the process.
Along with the fact that you will not be able to attend the VIP Broker events that usually
take place months before the General Public Preview. So, the moral of this story is contact us for more information on any project that you
are curious about and we assure you that as your most up to date source of pre- sale
information, you will be sure to have your finger on the pulse of any new development. |
